WOW

I don't know what to tell you other than we are all getting lazy. I think everyone started off pushing themselves really hard and most of us have fallen back into our previous ways. I figure that if I keep myself active I can give myself a few treats a week. It doesn't help that my Uncle came from Sweden and brought Chocolates! I'm not sure when these next pics are gonna be taken but hopefully soon. I would like to make the comparison from my first pics to now.

Delay

Sorry for the Delay on the pictures. I have been hitting the gym hard, just been waiting to get everyone together to take the pictures. My diet has been extremely clean too. The last I had weighed myself I was 164lbs. I personally like this weight, I just need to keep leaning out. If I can keep up this hard work I think that my results will be more than satisfactory for me come April

countdown to new pics

I'm trying to avoid looking at my original pics so i can see after I take the new ones the results so far. I'm pretty happy so far with how my workouts have been going. I am seeing results with my body but it could all be just a figment of my imagination haha. For the entire month of January I took off a total of 6 days from working out so that means 25 days of training. If that doesn't give me any kind of visual results than I will need to change up my routine in the gym so hopefully I can see some difference.

The End Of Birthday Madness

Sorry once again I have taken way too long to post any updates. I had a lot of Birthday festivities to deal with which meant not having the cleanest diet at times, but I would just push myself hard in the gym to make up for the bad diet. This Saturday we will take pictures again to show how our results are going. I'm excited to see the difference, plus to the weigh in and check the body fat percentage. So if you don't hear from me until Sunday it's because I waited to have something more to share.

it's been a while

Sorry I have been away from keeping you all up to date. I have had a few birthdays I have attended the last week. My sister and 2 Nieces birthdays are the 14th, 15th and 16th so my diet hasn't been the cleanest. I have had some chocolate, cake and maybe not the leanest food. But I have been going hard still at the gym, doing extra cardio to burn off the extra calories i have taken in over the birthdays. Crazy thing is I still have my Father's birthday which is the 21st (tomorrow) and my mom's bday which is the 24th to celebrate so i already know I will probably have a couple slices of cake in that time. I just have to keep up my work out regime. I have successfully kept pretty consistent with the gym I have only taken off 3 days since the training has started. Here is a picture though to entertain the masses of Roberts on his cheat day. This Sandwich was at least 3000 calories hahah!!

Seeing Results

So I have only taken 2 days off of the gym since we started last week. I have to say that eating healthy and working out like an animal has been giving me some good results. I will share with you the numbers this coming Monday. So far this week I have worked my Shoulders, Back and Legs while doing cardio and abs every day. I'm hoping that all this hard work will pay off. Still a long way to go though :)

2 day break

Sorry it's been a minutes since my last entry, I was experiencing bad back spasms on Saturday which kept me pretty much laying on the couch the whole day. Possibly I'm pushing myself a little too hard on the first week. Sunday was a really busy day full of birthdays so I wasn't able to go that day either. I think it was a good break from my body though because I went this morning and had a really good work out. It was shoulder, abs and cardio day. Feeling good. I'm already looking forward to the photos i will be taking in 3 weeks :)

Day 4

Day 4 was a good one once again. Cheated a little with having a baked pancake prepared by my brother after my workout, but it was worth it. HAHA! Other than that I ate pretty clean today. As for my work out I did 40 minutes of cardio once again and worked my abs and arms. Because of the snow today I am already feeling like I won't want to go tomorrow. but I will push myself through it. I gotta get some crazy results. Anyways bedtime for me! Up early and off to the gym :)

legs day 3 going into day 4

I don't know why but I wasn't able to post anything yesterday so I will fill you in quickly this morning. Yesterday was Legs day which for some people can = hell day but I don't mind it so much. Squats, leg press, lunges, calve raises, kick back and leg extensions. All those equals some sore legs. plus my daily cardio and healthy eating. It was a good day. I made some very lean meat sauce (time out) I had also pureed some broccoli, onions, red and green peppers and added it to some diced tomatoes and tomato sauce to give the meat sauce (time out) some flavor and extra nutrition. Now i'm off to the gym. It's arms, cardio and abs day :)

My starting weight and measurements

How could I forget, I weighed in at 174 at 20% body fat my waist is 91cm hips 89cm my biceps left and right are both 35cm and my thighs are 57cm for each leg. I will keep updating my weight and measurements once a week

Day 2 with pics



So day 2 has gone by pretty well. For Breakfast I had Bran Buds once again :) than hit the gym. Today was back and abs day. My body was still feeling pretty sore from the workout on Monday. Still I managed to really push myself with the weights. I also did my minimum of 40 minutes cardio than came home to have a protein shake. By this time my body was craving calories big time, but I have to control my hunger. for lunch i had a bowl of vegitables and some corned beef. I know that corned beef isn't the healthiest choice of meat (time out) but it was a small portion of it just to give the vegetables some flavor. I managed to stay away from snacking on bad things today by napping. I find when you sleep you don't crave food at all hahaha. So for dinner I went by my sisters where we barbecued some chicken breast and had some brocolli and sweet potatoes on the side. I think my daily count of calories is around 1800-2000 which is good considering the exercise I am doing. Now for some pictures for you all to laugh at. Here are the 4 of us guys taking up this challenge to transform our bodies (time out) into muscle machines (sorry for it being unorganized i'm still figuring out how to use this blog site)

the beginning

So today I started a diet with a group of friends. I have to admit it's hard to find a good diet to stick to, so I have just decided to eat relatively healthy and just manage my portions. I am also going to exercise in minimum of 2 hours a day 6 days a week. I started today with a bowl of bran buds, if you have never had those they work wonders for your digestive system. I then went to the gym, started with a light jog for 20 minutes than worked my shoulders, biceps and core. After doing weights I did another 20 minutes of elliptical and 30 minutes of  training doing speed intervals on the treadmill. I am feeling pretty drained but also feeling great. Something about pushing yourself physically (time out) makes you feel great after wards. I will continue eating healthy today and probably do the same routine tomorrow.
